About Damp Proofing UK
We started Damp Proofing UK to fix damp properly: to get to the actual cause of a damp wall — a failed damp-proof course, water getting in from outside, or a ventilation problem — instead of papering over the symptom and hoping it stays away.
We've focused on doing that well: surveying the property, diagnosing whether it's rising, penetrating or condensation damp, and treating it at the source with guaranteed work — because those three problems look similar but are put right in completely different ways.

For standard domestic jobs the survey and written quote are free. We diagnose whether it's rising, penetrating or condensation damp before quoting, because they're treated in completely different ways — no guessing from a photo.

Once the survey confirms the cause, you get a fixed written quote with the work and price set out clearly before anything starts, so there are no surprises once the job is under way.
Guaranteed workmanship
Treatments are carried out to industry standards and backed by a written workmanship guarantee, with the exact terms and length confirmed in your quote before any work begins.
